Abstract

This article presented crash data from full scale crash tests for two women aged 35 and 60. The older woman was subjected to three rear-end collisions and the younger woman was subjected to five rear-end collisions. Both woman were unrestrained except for the younger woman was restrained for one of the collisions. A chiropractor performed range of motion and orthopedic tests within hours before and three days after the crash tests were conducted and no clinical differences were noted. Neither woman complained of pain or injury at the three-day post-test exam.
