Abstract

Today modern analytical procedures readily allow readily for the examination of medication previously taken. Comprehensive Screening methods are preferable to targeted Screenings on selected substances in order to check possible co-consumption. In contrast to qualitative urine analyses, quantitative blood/serum analyses can be performed to gather information about consumption behavior. By means of hair analysis a longer window of detection is given for a retrospective check. Quantitative results can be used for Statements about consumption behavior. Hair analysis is also useful for checking possible co-consumption or at least the additonal handling of hashish/marijuana during a medical prescription of Dronabinol or Sativex.
