The formula from Smith, McCarthy, and Anderson (2000) had an error for estimating the correlation between the short and full length forms. It omitted a square root. The corrected projections are.893 for the 10 item mania scale and.902 for the 10 item depression scales in "Projected Correlation With Full" line of Table 2.
