The article "A distant relationship?--investigation of correlations between DNA isolated from backspatter traces recovered from firearms, wound profile characteristics, and shooting distance", written by Jan Euteneuer, Annica Gosch, Philipp Cachée and Cornelius Courts, was originally published Online First without Open Access. After publication in volume 134, issue 5, page 1619-1628 the author decided to opt for Open Choice and to make the article an Open Access publication.
