Abstract

The bicycle and pedestrian are often to share the sidewalk. In such a case, the conflicts are generated between the bicycle and pedestrian, as a result, the safety is lowered. The purpose of this study is, in the case of a traffic event which the bicycle overtake the pedestrian, to grasp the traffic communication behavior and to reveal that there are various consciousness between the bicycle and pedestrian by questionnaire survey. As a result, it is clear that there are consciousness gaps between the bicycle and pedestrian, and that elderly pedestrian wants to bicycle a bell and voice as communication behavior.

本研究の目的は、自転車が歩行者を追い越しす交通事象を対象として、観察調査によって交通コミュニケーション行動の実態を把握し、アンケート調査によって 自転車と歩行者の間には様々な意識ギャップが存在することを明らかにすることである。その結果、自転車利用者と歩行者では安全な追い越し方法について意識 GAPがあること、特に高齢歩行者は自転車に希望するコミュニケーション行動としてベルや声掛けを望んでいることが明らかとなった。
