Abstract

In order to attain reasonable cost and reliable safety, the optimization design of the selected stabilizing piles in middle-large landslide treatment has been done. Using multi-objective decision making fuzzy set analysis and analytical hierarchy process, the optimized project of the stabilizing piles in landslide treatment, which is of the multiple attribute and fuzzy property, is selected. Through the selection of decision variables, objective function, constraint condition (i.e. strength, size, reinforcement etc.) and optimization algorithm, the detailed structure of the selected stabilizing piles can be optimized in order to minimize the cost of construction. By means of the software Matlab 6.5, this minimized value of nonlinear constraint minimization value is solved. A practical example of optimization design applied to the landslide treatment has shown that there is lower cost of construction, up to 16% decrease, by both selecting program and deciding the detailed structure of the stabilizing pile.
