Abstract

Fire safety and preventions taken to overcome fire accidents, are discussed. Fire Corps department was established by members of the university of Ozarka to make people aware about various precautions that can be taken to prevent fire accidents. Members of the university's Future Business Leaders of America/phi Beta Lambda(FBLA/PBL) education organization aimed at students planning to enter business-related fields. FBLA/PBL brings business and education together through leadership and career development programs. Fire Corp's participation has greatly enhanced the fire safety programming, impacting firefighters and students. Fire Corps welcomes all interested community members and fire/EMS departments regardless of membership. Any fire/EMS department or rescue squad can request assistance to start a Fire Corps program. The only requirement to register is to have a direct affiliation with local, state or EMS agency.
