Abstract

We experienced 2 cases of acute renal failure caused by bee stings and snake bite. A man experienced a toxic reaction following multiple Hornet stings. After an initial anaphylactic reactions he presented a delayed acute renal failure secondary to rhabdomyolysis. A second clinical case is a 48-year-old man bitten by Natrix tigrina lateralis. He presented with acute renal failure secondary to hemolysis and afibrinogenemia with thrombocytopenia. They completely recovered without sequale after peritoneal dialysis.
