Abstract

A new version of an old device is proposed: a speed recorder where an electronic chip replaces mechanical parts. The speed in 2-second intervals is stored in an electronic memory. Because of its low price and versatility, the new recorder seems likely to be widely accepted in the near future. (TRRL)
