Aims and Scope (from publisher): Psychológia a patopsychológia dieťaťa (Psychology and Pathopsychology of Child) is a double-blind peer reviewed international scientific open access journal published since 1966. It is oriented on psychological sciences. Its mission is to present the results of current psychological research focusing on the mental development of children and youth and on factors determining that development. Standard development as well as the development of children with disabilities, gifted children, socially disadvantaged children and their inclusion are in the centre of the journal’s attention. The journal publishes only original, novel, high-quality scientific studies, scholarly papers, literature reviews, case studies, book reviews, reports and information, which improve the readers’ knowledge base. All the published research studies and scholarly articles deal with topics of international relevance and have not been submitted for publication elsewhere. The main objective of the journal is to provide an international and interdisciplinary forum for professionals, academic staff, university teachers and researchers addressing current topics in the field of social sciences and humanities from a global perspective and to provide practicing psychologists with up-to-date information regarding new diagnostic methods and with examples of good practice. All papers must be written in Slovak, Czech or English. The journal is published quarterly both in print and online.
