Aims and Scope (from publisher): The Journal of the Korea Institute of Intelligent Transportation Systems is the official journal of The Korea Institute of Intelligent Transportation Systems. It was launched in 2002. The journal aims to disseminate new knowledge concerning technical aspects of Intelligent Transportation Systems including the theoretical, experimental and operational aspects of communication and information technologies, transportation, traffic engineering, mechanical engineering as well as policy planning, economics, and psychology as applied to Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). It provides a global forum for the wide-range discussion across multiple disciplines about nobel solutions to meet the needs of current and future intelligent transportation systems. The Journal is published bi-monthly in February, April, June, August, October and December each year. All of the manuscripts are peer-reviewed.

The Journal is indexed by KCI (Korea Citation Index). Full text is freely available from: http://journal.kits.or.kr. This journal was supported by the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies(KOFST) Grant funded by the Korean Government.
