Aims and Scope (from publisher): JHSP is an Open Access, double blind peer-reviewed, biannualy journal in the field of public health sciences and prevention. The aim of the journal is to stimulate dissemination of knowledge in the public health field in order to improve efficacy, effectiveness and efficiency of public health interventions for a better community health outcomes. JHSP published by State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya in collaboration with PERSAKMI.



Journal of Health Science and Prevention is a journal devoted for rapid dissemination of significant data related to science and practices of disease prevention. The journal is an interdisciplinary medium serving several branches of life sciences. Journal of Health Science and Prevention publishes original research articles, review articles, short communications, case reports, opinion articles, editorials, mini reviews etc. Full length reviews are only published after invitation from the editorial board.

Journal of Health Science and Prevention is interested in (but not limited to) all aspects related to science and practices of health and disease prevention including Preventive Healthcare, Primary Prevention, Secondary prevention, Tertiary prevention, Health promotion, Environmental health, Infant and child care, Midwifery, Prevention of tobacco use Isoniazid Preventive Therapy, Mental illness prevention, Preventive and social medicine, Public Health and Preventive Medicine
