Aims and Scope (from publisher):
The OSAKA UNIVERSITY LAW REVIEW is an international academic journal on law and politics. The journal, which first appeared in 1952, is published annually around the beginning of the year, usually in February. The aims of the OSAKA UNIVERSITY LAW REVIEW are to encourage debate and exchange of views between Japanese and foreign scholars and to promote and disseminate original research in the fields of Japanese law and politics.
The editorial board consists of members of the International Exchange Office of the Graduate School of Law and Politics, Osaka University. The contributors are mainly members of the Graduate School of Law and Politics. They include visiting scholars, guest speakers, part-time instructors, and postgraduate students. The OSAKA UNIVERSITY LAW REVIEW publishes full-length referred articles, as well as commentaries, reviews, essays, case notes, reports on academic lectures and conferences, and book reviews.
