Aims and Scope (from publisher): The Journal is the official publication of the Asociación Colombiana de Psiquiatría (Colombian Psychiatric Association), with the aim of publishing articles of interest in psychiatry, mental health, and associated professions. It has been published since its foundation in 1964 every three months without fail. The aim of the Journal is to disseminate different knowledge models that currently form the theoretical and practical body of our specialty. It is also aimed at psychiatrists, non-medical psychiatrists, psychologists, philosophers, and other health professionals or those interested in this area. It publishes original works, review or update articles, case reports from all areas of psychiatry and mental health, epistemology articles, philosophy of the mind and bioethics, and articles on research methodology, and critical reading.
