Aims and Scope (from publisher): Journal of EMS Medicine is the official peer-reviewed, open-access, journal of the Korean council of EMS physicians and Asian Association of Emergency Medical Services. Our journals are published three times a year. The Journal of EMS Medicine focuses on system development and quality improvement of EMS across community, prehospital, and inter-hospital emergency care including pathophysiology, epidemiology, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and simulation. The journal also publishes papers focusing on the different models of emergency healthcare delivery all over the world. The journal accepts editorials, position paper, original articles, reviews, letters to the editor, case reports, and preliminary reports in related areas. The journal is aimed at first responders, EMS providers including emergency medicine physician, emergency medicine nurse, and emergency medical technicians, stakeholder of government, and other organization related EMS system. The journal will be of interest out-of hospital emergency cares of medical disease and injury, disaster medicine, injury prevention, and global EMS.
