Aims and Scope (from publisher): Journal Komunikácie - vedecké listy Žilinskej univerzity v Žiline / Communications - Scientific Letters of the University of Žilina, Slovakia, began publishing in the year 1999 with the expectation of providing adequate space to present the latest scientific knowledge and trends in the areas of transport, telecommunications and information technology. The scientific scope of the journal was focused mainly on transport issues, telecommunications, constructions, materials, technologies and new development areas of the university. From September 2018, the journal was profiled as the scientific journal with the basic topic of transportation.

Journal Communications - Scientific Letters of the University of Žilina has an open-access policy and there are no publication, processing or other fees charged for published papers. Our journal operates a standard single-anonymised peer review procedure, the successful completion of which is a prerequisite for paper publication.
