Abstract

Floor and wall carpeting by means of adhesives containing solvents not only represent an explosion and fire risk but also mean a toxic hazard and furthermore a danger to contract occupational diseases. The risks of explosion and their prevention, as stipulated by the Swiss Accident Insurance Fund, are described in detail.
