To search the SafetyLit archive, enter an author's name or a "text word" or phrase that is likely to appear in the title or abstract. You may restrict your results to a range of years. Further limit your search by DE-SELECTING the inappropriate category tick-boxes. When you are ready, click the "Search Archive" button.
If you leave all the boxes checked and put nothing in the search fields your search will attempt to return the entire 80,000 record database. This will likely overwhelm your computer and produce ugly error messages.
In Boolean terms the search system logic works this way:
[(author name) AND/OR (textword) AND (years)] AND [(category 1) OR (category 2) OR (category 3) etc.]
