Abstract

A total of 554 cases of burned epileptics was treated during the period 1965-1975. Incidence is more common in females and during the winter months. The head and neck region, followed by the hands, formed the commonest site of injury (60-80 per cent). Other statistical data are reported and the available literature is reviewed briefly.
