Abstract

"The results of this study support the hypothesis that a highly significant relationship exists between the axes along which an individual perceives himself changing and his perceptions of threatening people. More explicity stated, the threatening person is perceived by an individual as being more like himself as he was in the past, or is now but no longer wants to be, than the nonthreatening person."
