Abstract

This study examined the relationship between variation in response velocity, range of motion, and temporal accuracy for 25 subjects executing stroking movements aimed to terminate coincidently with a moving stimulus arriving at a target. Analysis indicated that temporal accuracy improved with increasing velocity and decreasing range of movement.
