Abstract

The article focuses on trafficking trends and processes in Southeast Asia and its comparison to data collected by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) through development of the Counter Trafficking Module (CTM) database in Indonesia. Two bar graphs are presented which depicts the number of Indonesian trafficking victims to type of work they perform. Two tables are presented in which one shows IOM analysis in relation to trafficked Indonesians and their final country destinations and another is related to the number and percentage of qualifying education, marital status and gender. A report by UNICEF on trafficking of children of the year 2009 is also presented.
