Abstract

The Ohio Department of Public Safety, Office of the Governor's Highway Safety Representative (OGHSR) acts as grants administration agent, and develops an annual work plan (Ohio Highway Safety Plan) to guide statewide traffic safety efforts. This article lists the programs for which the OGHSR issued grants during Federal Fiscal Year 1995. Among the programs are several addressing the impaired driver problem. A table is provided showing the Section 402 funds allocated to each program area. Finally, a list is presented of the program accomplishments and impact.
