Abstract

This research was planned to study the influence of advisory letters on the rate of errors in driving made by private motorists. For the purpose of the study, behaviour at a halt sign was chosen. The before-after type of method was used. The original hypothesis of the experiment was confirmed, namely that an advisory letter caused a significant reduction in the error rate compared with the case where no letters were used.
