Abstract

On May 27, 2000, a 27-year-old male volunteer firefighter died from injuries sustained in a pumper truck rollover accident that occurred while returning from an unfounded motor-vehicle incident call. On May 30, 2000, the U.S. Fire Administration notified the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) of this incident. The findings of the NIOSH investigation are given.
