Abstract

We document the first reported case of attempted suicide with the GLP-1 receptor agonist, liraglutide. A 33-year-old Japanese woman with type 2 diabetes reported subcutaneously injected 72mg of liraglutide. She experienced gastrointestinal symptoms but no hypoglycemia.
