Abstract

This article discusses the growth of psychological services in the Chicago Public School System. It is noted that because of his appreciation of the value of psychological service to education, the Superintendent of the Chicago Public School System, Dr. William H. Johnson, has made possible an expansion of the Bureau of Child Study both in personnel and in the amount and types of psychological service which the bureau offers.
