Abstract

Many publications, to varying degrees, are dedicated to the subject of the slip phenomenon. The author of this paper encountered the problem of explaining the tyre slip phenomenon when he started developing an off-road vehicle ride simulation system. In this paper an attempt is made to study the physical nature of what is known as a tyre slip phenomenon and to explain unknown mechanics based on the four different physical phenomena. These phenomena are referred to as the slips of the first, second, third, and fourth types.
