Abstract

The kinematics and signal output from the sensors of three dummies are compared. The behavior of the dummies in the presence of two different crash pulses is compared. The practicability of the dummies for the development of child restraints is evaluated. The Hybrid III six year old dummy proves to be a repeatable test device as is the Part 572.
