Abstract

This article presents excerpts from Appendix C of the article "Description and Testing of High Friction Surface Treatments" from the March/April '17 issue of Accident Reconstruction Journal. Friction tests were performed on seven road surfaces suffering from a variety of failure modes including loose aggregate, missing aggregate and scalloping, the results of which are presented in the article.
