Abstract

The possibilities for safe, reliable and secure transportation in the 21st century are enormous. These outcomes become possible when agency department heads or managers responsible for day-to-day operations deliberately work together. Successful regional transportation operations collaboration and coordination work to build key relationships among agencies and jurisdictions responsible for delivering transportation and public safety services in a metropolitan region.
