Abstract

An attempt is made to illustrate the process of planning, designing, fabricating, financing and managing wayfinding systems. Useful guidelines and rules of thumb for developing such systems are provided. In particular, useful advice to traffic engineers is given to better involve themselves with the project team creating such systems.
