Abstract

An extensive effort has been made over the past two decades to develop a database for the trip generation characteristics of different types of land uses. However, some specific land uses such as limited service/economy motels have not been examined adequately, and the trip generating characteristics of these motels may be substantially different from other types of motels. This paper aims to develop a database on trip-generating characteristics of limited service/economy motels.
